Vokes and Peters director and architect Aaron Peters and his family moved into this Brisbane worker’s cottage almost a decade ago, and they’ve been renovating it ever since.
Built at the turn of the 19th century, the decrepit house needed a lot of work, with the couple spending the entirety of their initial budget on ‘remedial carpentry’ alone.
But this paved the way for a slow and steady approach, allowing them to focus on their bushy backyard, before creating an enchanting living space right on the edge of the garden.
