Imladris Farm is established on the site of Walter’s great-grandparents subsistence farm. Located in the farming community of Fairview and dating back to a land grant from the late 1700’s, the farm still includes and makes use of several of the old farm buildings, the original springs, and tools inherited from family. The birth of Andy, our son, began the seventh generation of our family’s presence on this farm.
By treating the challenge of growth as an opportunity, Imladris has developed a network of local farms to help supply the fruit for our preserves. We’re very proud to help support 4 other local farm families, and our connection to them means that you can always rest assured that the fruit in your jam comes directly from Western North Carolina.
