Cereals, Sodas, Snacks: Thousands of Products Targeted in RFK Jr.’s Food Dye Crackdown

The FDA is moving to ban seven synthetic food dyes found in more than 10,000 popular products — including Red 40 and Yellow 5. From kids’ snacks to sports drinks, companies will be forced to reformulate. The goal, officials say, is to replace risky ingredients with natural alternatives by late 2026. Here’s what to know.
