Dunstan by SSdH is a creative reinvention of a post-war home in one of Melbourne’s first large-scale housing estates, built in the 1950s.
The owners engaged the emerging architects to turn the near-original residence into a ‘forever house’ where the semi-retired couple could age in place.
Drawing on the owner’s love of mid-century design and indoor-outdoor living, the resulting extension both contrasts and complements the clinker-brick abode, creating an adaptable house filled with little surprises.
