Be Bright, Wear White!

Summer after Summer, an all-white look remains an absolute favorite for all fashion-lovers. Why not beat the heat and look effortlessly stunning!

It’s the perfect time to take fashion risks and try trends you maybe wouldn’t before. The freshest look to try for spring is the all white trend. This monochromatic trend is no longer just for brides and has been shown at spring shows such as Michael Kors and Ralph Lauren. Whether it be a pantsuit, dress, or separates, an all white look is something anyone can rock. White is bold, classy and elegant, so a whole look in white is sure to make a statement that is fresh and fitting for spring.

If you’re a little apprehensive to try an all white outfit, start simple. Throw on a white sundress and pair it with your favorite sandals and accessories (even if they aren’t white). This will still give you the clean, sleek look. White jeans are also a great way to ease into this trend, and the great thing about white is that it goes with anything. Pair white jeans with a flowy top and heels for a put together look that is great for a lunch date with friends.

The all white look has serious style potential, too. For the fashion forward, try mixing textures to give your outfit interest in the absence of color. For example, a feathered skirt, paired with a lace top and linen jacket would give you that “just off the runway” look. Allowing the textures to pop! Keep in mind that this trend doesn’t have to be just for the girly-girls, which is often what it’s mistaken for. For an edgier urban look, mix textures like leather and mesh and you’ll be anything but a girly-girl.

The beginning of each season is great for experimenting, put yourself out there and your style risks will pay off. Remember, fashion is meant to be fun and any crazy runway trend can be broken down for an everyday look!
